We start with a virtual design consultation, an approach TCP helped pioneer and continues to refine. Your project developer takes time to understand your goals, preferences, and how you plan to use your outdoor space. No pressure and no rushed decisions. This is a thoughtful conversation around a complex, highly customized project.
During this meeting, we review your lot survey and photos, discuss ideas, sketch concepts, and share inspiration from past projects including patio covers, outdoor kitchens, pools, and more.
2. You Show Us Your Space
Following the initial consultation, we schedule an on-site visit to gather precise measurements and confirm all site conditions. This ensures nothing is overlooked and allows us to fully align the design with your property.
Together, we refine a clear direction that balances function, layout, and architectural consistency.
3. We Design & Render
Next, we develop a design tailored specifically to your home and property.
Using your survey, measurements, and site photos, we create scaled drawings and detailed renderings that illustrate layout, elevations, and overall flow. Every design is approached with careful attention to proportion, usability, and how each element, including patio covers, outdoor kitchens, pools, and pool houses, integrates seamlessly with your home.
4. We Review Together
Your proposal includes design renderings along with a detailed, accurate price, not a generic estimate.
We meet with you to walk through every aspect of the plan, answer questions, and make any necessary refinements before moving forward.
5. You Choose
At this stage, you select materials and finishes that define the overall aesthetic of your space. Whether your style is clean and modern or more traditional, every selection is tailored to your vision and the architecture of your home.
6. We Deliver
We handle material ordering, scheduling, and logistics, along with HOA coordination and city permitting where required.
If permits are needed, our team manages engineering, submissions, inspections, and approvals. Typical permitting timelines range from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the municipality.
7. We Got This
Your project manager coordinates all trades and construction phases, ensuring each step is executed in the proper sequence and aligned with the overall schedule. Careful planning and oversight keep the project moving efficiently while maintaining quality.
8. You Relax
Both your project developer and project manager remain involved throughout construction to ensure the design is executed exactly as intended.
Upon completion, we conduct a detailed walkthrough with you to confirm every element meets expectations.
